A 2.5 day hackathon for beginners introducing augmented reality through the lens
of activism.
In this workshop, participants will design and develop an
augmented reality prototype tackling a social issue of their choice.

Ricebox Studio is an award-winning design studio founded by 4 POC designers - Maria, Bristy, Anna, and Safiya - which focuses on design for social good using visual communication, creative tech, interactive design, user-centered design, and education. They view each project as a creative seed that they're planting in people's minds to encourage conversations and actions to tackle various social issues.
